As everyone knows now the girls will be having a new album titled "the boys". The tracklist and teaser photos have been released, but the date of the album release has yet to come out. I am anticipating this album alot and i am sure everyone else is. Please support the girls by purchasing the album if you are able to.

Formed by SM Entertainment, SNSD (So Nyeo Shi Dae ), also known as Girl's Generation made their first single, "Into the New World." There are 9 girls in this group; (goes by oldest to youngest) Tae Yeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyo Yeon, YuRi, Soo Young, YoonAh, and Seo Hyun. SNSD made their first appearance on M.NET'S M!Countdown, with their song, "Into The New World."
After the promotion of Into the New World, the girls started to promote their first album with the song Girls' Generation (소녀시대), a cover of Lee Seung Chul's song. The last performance aired on KBS 2TV Music Bank, with the girls using the outfits they used on the cover shooting of their 1st album. Their third MV featured Donghae as the main character, as the girl's lover with the song, Kissing You. The first performance aired on SBS Inkigayo on January 13, 2007.
Talented as they are, these girls' can speak English, Chinese, and Japanese. Both Jessica and Tiffany had been raised in America, so they're fleunt in Englsih, Sooyoung started out in a Japanese Entertainment, called Route-O, so she knows how to speak Japanese, and Hyoyeon traveled to Beijing, China and she learned Chinese Mandarine, while the other girls took lessons to learn a language.
The girls' had a documentary called, "Girls' Generation Goes to School." It was aired on July 27, 2007 on M.Net. The documentary shows the girls' practicing, some of their performance, and behind the scenes of their world. On MTV Korea, another show was made. It showed the girls' home.
The girls' first album came out in November 1, with a hit single "Girls' Generation.

Release of Girls’ Generation’s 3rd Korean Album Postponed

After rumours of Girls’ Generation postponing their album release dates started to circulate on the internet, SM Entertainment has finally released an official announcement with regards to the matter.
Girls’ Generation was originally planning on releasing the audio for their title song, “The Boys” in both Korean and English on the 4th of October. This release was scheduled not only to be in Korea, but across various Asian music sites, as well as a worldwide release through iTunes in the United States and Europe. After which, Girls’ Generation was planning on releasing their official 3rd album in Korea on the 5th of October.
However, at 10.20PM on the 30th of September, SM Entertainment released a statement confirming the postponement of Girls’ Generation’s 3rd album release date. A representative revealed, “It has been decided that Girls’ Generation will be releasing a US album. In order to reinforce the plans of having a worldwide release of “The Boys”, we are planning on changing the release dates of the album in Korea as well. Further details about our decision will be announced when they are confirmed.”
